Anazape Beans

Developed by Rio Del Rey in 2018, 25 of these bean seeds were found in 800 lb of Anazasi beans grown next to Rio Zape Beans. The beans were cross-pollinated by bees, resulting in this hybrid. It combines the depth of flavor of both beans and was voted the number 1 bean in a tasting of San Diego Chefs. They are full of flavor and creaminess and produce a rich bean gravy.
